OUR VISION
Our vision is of a future in which no young girl takes guesses at what to do when she starts bleeding from her vagina.
OUR MISSION
We aim to prepare all girls for menarche, the first menstrual period and have enough knowledge about their bodies, especially the organs that cause menstruation.
ABOUT US
FlowReady is a project working to see that all girls in low-income countries do not have to gamble through their periods. Our main target is:
- Young girls 6 to 15 (interest in those about to start or in their first 3 months – give them FlowPouches)
- 15-18 (have started menstruating but don’t have enough information – package info differently)
We will campaign, inform, undertake research, and do all we can to encourage an open, fair-minded, and constructive debate about menstruation. We aim to create public awareness and policy action on menstruation.

WHY WE ARE HERE
We assert that as they “come of age,” young girls in many low-income nations are overlooked and receive little to no information on the capabilities of their bodies. The majority of the girls’ biggest problems, like missing school, are caused by this ignorance. The neglect also encourages early pregnancy and child marriage.
